Because of our refusal to sign NPT, USA has taken maximum advantage to lure India to sign Nuclear treaty with only USA.

Indian Government has committed a Himalyan blunder by signing the treaty and which may make India a banana republic, or pithoo of USA. Yes, we may be virtual slaves of USA now. I will show you how.

first Let us see what is NPT.

The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, also referred to as the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), obligates the five acknowledged nuclear-weapon states (the United States, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, France, and China) not to transfer nuclear weapons, other nuclear explosive devices, or their technology to any non-nuclear-weapon state. Non-nuclear-weapon States Parties undertake not to acquire or produce nuclear weapons or nuclear explosive devices. They are required also to accept safeguards to detect diversions of nuclear materials from peaceful activities, such as power generation, to the production of nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices. This must be done in accordance with an individual safeguards agreement, concluded between each non-nuclear-weapon State Party and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Under these agreements, all nuclear materials in peaceful civil facilities under the jurisdiction of the state must be declared to the IAEA, whose inspectors have routine access to the facilities for periodic monitoring and inspections. If information from routine inspections is not sufficient to fulfill its responsibilities, the IAEA may consult with the state regarding special inspections within or outside declared facilities.

Now, the treaty signed by Manmohan singh Government with USA which is known as the Hyde Act, that put into law the India-US civil nuclear cooperation, if implemented in its present form, would amount to slavery of USA instead of the British sixty years ago, as it seeks to contain or cap the Indian strategic program.

There are large number of sections which contain or cap the Indian strategic program. In fact, in some places it also articulates a policy and a philosophy of rollbacks." as Mr. Anil Kakodker said in a TV interview.

 I think Mr. Anil Kakodker also knows and agrees that this HYDE act will make us remote slaves of USA,  but do not speak out openly because of obvious reasons that he is in the government.

A). gives power to America to call off the treaty at anytime. India can not do the same.

B). India will construct new nuclear facilities and will buy uranium from America, now if USA calls off the treaty, it will kill Indian progress and the nation will become energy-less and power-less. Because India can not afford that to happen, India will always support USA in it's foreign policy, like say, India would support American attack on Iran, which is against our non-alligned policy.

C). India can not buy more uranium then monthly requirement. so India is always under American mercy.

D). In return, India, will give America the right to inspect all its nuclear facilities, materials, buildings, and even staff members will come under inspection.

E). The USA government will keep their inspectors from not one but three agencies in India to watch the use of imported Uranium. These three departments are, American Atomic department, American Energy commission and American foreign department. They will be our permanent guests.

F). India do not have the right to call off the treaty hence India can not throw out these permanent guests.

G). In case if USA calls off the treaty, we can not throw these permanent guests out of our country, and they will go on inspecting our nuclear facilities permanently.

H). India will have to sign few more treaties under hyde act. they are, treaties with Nuclear suppliers group, Missile technology control regime, Australia group and Vasenar arrangement .

I). India can not test more then one pound bomb, which will prove the death knell for our nuclear technology.
where as Pakistan will continue to develop and China will continue to develop their nuclear technology.

J)....and India will not be given the status of a nuclear power. that is for sure. because Condoleeza Rice has said so many times.

Like Mr. Virendra Parekh in Janmabhoomi has said, Good relations with USA and becoming their slaves are two different things. India has become slave by remote control, with the signing of this treaty.

NPT is a known devil, where as this Hyde Act is unknown devil. and as you know, a known devil is...........
